Summary

An EM-Rail Ejector is used to propel Solar Sails into an orbit around a star to form a Dyson Swarm.

The EM-Rail Ejector must have a direct line of sight to the injection point on the dyson sphere orbit in order to work. Therefore, players usually construct EM-Rail Ejectors at the poles of a planet, to ensure continuous operation.

Required Technology

Production Chain

  1. To construct n=1 EM-Rail Ejector requires the following raw components: Iron Ore = 330, Copper Ore = 60, Silicon Ore = 40, Coal = 20

Player Tips & Tricks

  1. The minimum pitch angle to allow firing is +5 degrees.
  2. The vector towards the targeted solar orbit must not be blocked by any celestial bodies (i.e. moons orbiting Gas giants get blocked often).
