[[Stars and planets|Stars]] get their names assigned by random at the moment when the cluster is generated, following some rules according to the star types.
{{:{{PAGENAME}}/ItemInfo}}

Main-Sequence Stars, White Dwarves and Giant Stars may get their names from one of the two fixed lists, one for the Generic Stars and White Dwarves and another for the Giants. For the most of these names there is a star existing in the real world, but the in-game star does not have to correspond its real-life counterpart in the spectral class or other paramters.

Main-Sequence Stars, White Dwarves and Giant Stars may also get their names according to the {{wp|Bayer_designation|Bayer designation}}, i.e. a Greek letter or a number followed by the Latin name of the constellation in the genitive case.

Giants can also get their names formed from a literal prefix followed by a decimal code. The prefix generally corresponds to the one used in an existing {{wp|Star_catalogue|star catalogue}}.

Neutron Stars and Black Holes are always named with the with the literal prefix and the decimal code.

Below, the <small>''ITALICIZED''</small> letters are variables. See notes for clarifications.

==Black Holes==
* The [[Conveyor_Belt_Mk.I|Conveyor Belt Mk.I]] can carry 6 items per second or 360 items per minute.
2 name templates.
* A full belt holds one item per tile and one item per connection between tiles. Thus an item on the belt moves three tiles per second.
{| class="wikitable"
* Stack size per inventory slot: 200

===Placing down===
==Probabilities==
* Once the start point has been selected, pressing {{kbd|R}} will switch the direction the belt will follow before turning 90 degrees to reach the destination point.
{| class="wikitable" style="text-align:center"
* When placing belts, altitude of current point can be changed by pressing the {{kbd|↑}} and {{kbd|↓}} arrow keys. Pressing {{kbd|0}} (Zero) (with {{kbd|Num Lock}} on) will reset to ground.
! rowspan="2" | Generic Star / White Dwarf
* While the editor requires two tiles at either ends to level off before being able to turn. On the downstream part of the slope, where it levels off, one can erase a belt segment and place a turn 1 tile earlier.
| 60% || 33% || 7%
* Holding {{kbd|Shift}} while placing will disable building snapping, allowing easier laying of belts over buildings/other belts.
|-

| Fixed Name || Bayer Designation<br>(Greek Letter) || Bayer Designation<br>(Number)
===Merging===
|-
* Joining belts together is allowed, but only in the direction that they merge their cargo together.
! rowspan="2" | Giant Star
* When merging a belt into a straight belt, the straight belt has priority over the joining belt.
| 40% || 30% || 30%

| Fixed Name || Bayer Designation<br>(Number) || Catalogue Name
It is possible to place items directly on conveyor belts. To do this, mouse over a section of belt until a white box appears. Click the box to bring up an interaction dialog window, with a circular port that displays what is on that section of the belt. If there is nothing on the belt, you can take an item from your inventory and place it in the port (if you have several of the same item to place, hold down the mouse button; there is no need to click for each individual item).

Conversely, you can take items directly from belts in the same manner.

===Mass-Deletion===
When deleting belts, holding {{kbd|Shift}} before clicking a belt will delete the entire belt all at once (within build range).

===Mass-Upgrade===
* When upgrading belts, holding {{kbd|Shift}} before clicking a belt will upgrade the entire belt all at once (within build range).
* It is not possible to directly upgrade from Mk.I to Mk.III. The belt must first be upgraded to Mk.II before upgrading again to Mk.III.

Stars get their names assigned by random at the moment when the cluster is generated, following some rules according to the star types.

Main-Sequence Stars, White Dwarves and Giant Stars may also get their names according to the Bayer designation, i.e. a Greek letter or a number followed by the Latin name of the constellation in the genitive case.

Giants can also get their names formed from a literal prefix followed by a decimal code. The prefix generally corresponds to the one used in an existing star catalogue.

Neutron Stars and Black Holes are always named with the with the literal prefix and the decimal code.

Below, the ITALICIZED letters are variables. See notes for clarifications.
