| * It is good to build a production line for Foundation early on in the game, as the oceans around your starter planet can limit the size of your builds, and force you to compromise on how your factory looks. This can be relatively easily done by finding a location where Iron Ore and Stone veins are located conveniently close to each other, making it easy to transport both to your line. The same holds true for every planet where both Iron and Stone are found, avoiding use of costly interstellar logistics capacity for this base material.
