But where's the content?
For the time being, any information added to the wiki would just be speculation. While a handful of individuals got to play-test the game for a week due to their backer level on Kickstarter, they are covered by NDA until the game is released. Any other information added would just be speculation based on what has been seen in the videos, and could potentially be incorrect. We would rather have delayed but accurate information, than early but inaccurate information that we have to go back and edit to make it correct later. So we're not adding much just yet, but as soon as the game is out, we have a lot of content ready to be imported!
The game just released on January 21st, 2021 and with it the NDA's and embargos on sharing information about the game. We are now working hard to add content as quickly as we can, but we're also trying to verify it against game updates that have happened in the past few weeks. With that said, any good wiki grows based on the contributions of its readers, so if you see something lacking, go ahead and pitch in! We'd really appreciate the help! If you want to help out but don't know where to start, Take a look at DSP_Wiki:Plan for our roadmap, and DSP_Wiki:How_to_help for ways to help no matter what your experience level!

The Wiki needs help!
A wiki is a massive undertaking, no matter how you cut it. The biggest drive to any great wiki is great contributors, helping to add content and helping to keep existing content up to date. We could really use some help here!  Admittedly, as of this writing, the game has not yet launched so there's little that is known for fact. But if you're interested in helping to add Stub pages, Works in Progress, and start fleshing out categories and layouts, then head on over to DSP_Wiki:Plan to get an idea for our plans and where we can use the help. We really appreciate it!

Welcome to the Dyson Sphere Program's Wiki!

Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch.

You play as a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing Dyson Spheres (a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its power and energy) to produce the energy that humanity needs. Only a few decades ago, Dyson Spheres were considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… Will you be able to turn a backwater space workshop into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire?

About DSP Wiki

DSP Wiki is a player-run, player-organized wiki dedicated to the video game "Dyson Sphere Program". DSP Wiki is not affiliated with or endorsed by the game's creators, Youthcat Studio, or its publisher Gamera Game.

DSP Wiki is privately hosted on a multi-project server. Those other projects cover the server costs, and thus DSP Wiki will remain advertisement-free for the foreseeable future. Privately hosting DSP Wiki, as opposed to using a free service such as Fandom, permits us to keep the software up to date, and maintain full control over features.

There are many changes still to come for the Wiki, such as setting up Categories for articles, a new custom Skin (color theme / layout), and tackling a couple of remaining bugs. Look forward to these changes and more in the coming weeks. That is, unless the game is released early and all of our time goes to playing it instead!
