Summary
Directly generate electricity using sunlight, and the actual generation capacity is related to the planet's solar energy ratio. Not working at night, use accumulators can store excess energy during the day.

Player Tips & Tricks
- You can place your solar panels in a ring around the equator of a planet, if you want a consistent power supply without using any Accumulators.
- You can place your solar panels at or near both poles of a planet to produce more power out of each one (compared to placing them near the equator), because the majority of the time they will be outputing more than 50% of the maximum solar power available for a panel on that planet. However, the higher the axial inclination of the planet, the more a pannel near the pole of the "Summer Zone" will produce power compared to a pannel near the "Winter Zone".
