Obtained from Dark Fog Debris. These silicon-based neurons have both storage and computing capabilities. When several silicon-based neurons are combined, they can simulate the brain operations of a carbon-based life form..
Summary
This material is obtainable by killing Dark Fog units that are level 18 or above and having it in your inventory unlocks the hidden research Digital Analog Computation, allowing you to unlock a 2nd tier of matrix lab. Additionally it is a component used to produce that top tier lab.
