Summary
Strange matter has a great gravitational negative pressure, which exceeds its energy density, so that the space around the strange matter is warped and meets the negative energy demand of the warp engine.

The only use for Strange Matter is to make Graviton Lenses with them. One Miniature Particle Collider can make enough Strange Matter for one Assembling Machine Mk.I making Graviton Lenses. When using Mk.II and Mk.III Assembling Machines they will need more Particle Colliders, since their production speed can't be upgraded.
