Plasma Exciter
Component
The plasma generated by the high-power exciter can be used to extract and refine crude oil, and can also be used to make wireless power tower for remote power transmission and charge mecha.

Summary

The Plasma Exciter is a component that is used in the production of 5 buildings: the Oil Extractor, Oil Refinery, Wireless Power Tower Spray Coater, and Logistics Distributor. It is not used in any other components, so the need for Plasma Exciters is somewhat limited compared to most other components.

Player Tips & Tricks

  • Since their ratio is 1:1, each Plasma Exciter-making Assembling Machine can be fed from a single Prism-making Assembling Machine with a sorter, without needing belts.
  • Compared to almost all other components in the game, Plasma Exciters are needed in a very limited amount since they are used only in five buildings.
    • If you decide to automate their production in the early game, use a single Assembling Machine taking them to a storage with only a few slots unlocked. From there they can be taken to craft the buildings as needed.
    • Later on, the production of the four buildings can be automated, and one or two Assembling Machines making Plasma Exciters will be more than enough for that.
    • However, if the player intends to expand into large-scale automation via Logistics Distributors, it may be useful to have at least small-scale Plasma Exciter production.
