Summary

The Storage Tank is the most effective way by far to store liquids. Each Storage Tank can only hold one type of liquid (unlike Storage Mk.I/Mk.II), but in exchange the Storage Tank can hold up to 10,000 units of that liquid.

Liquids are loaded and unloaded directly using conveyor belts; sorters are not used.

The Storage Tank can store Crude Oil, Refined Oil, Water, Deuterium, Hydrogen, and Sulfuric Acid.

Player Tips & Tricks

Liquids can also be stored in regular Storage Mk.I/Mk.II, but the Storage Tank holds a significantly higher volume than an item storage container can hold.

As of Version 0.6.17.5827, fluids may be placed or removed from the Storage Tank manually. Prior to this update, players could only directly place or remove items from the storage tank via belt.
