Summary
Transport items from Conveyor Belts into facilities, from facilities out to cargo belts or between facilities directly. The sorter can install a filter to only move specific items. A Sorter can cover a maximum distance of three tiles.

Likewise, filtered Sorters can be used to output specific components from specific ports on buildings that produce more than one component, such as Oil Refineries.
