* Requires [[Logistics Bot|Logistics Bots]] to move items. A distributor can hold up to 10 bots.
* Each Logistics Distributor only can deal with one type of item at a time. When placed, this defaults to whatever item is in the first slot of the storage, but it can be changed at any time.
* Separate option selections to enable transfer to/from Icarus (default on) or other distributors (default off). When enabled, the option can also select whether this distributor is to supply to or demand from that destination.
* Logistics Distributors have two settings: "Distribute to [[Icarus]]" (default on) and "Distribute to other distributors" (default off). Whenever an option is enabled, it adds an option to either supply or demand from that destination (those being Icarus and other Logistics Distributors). When there is a Distributor set to supply items and another set to demand that item, Logistics Bots from both Distributors will gather items from the supplying Distributor's storage and bring them to the demanding Distributor's storage.
** Other distributors can only be purely supplied or purely demanded from.
* Distribution to and from Icarus requires some additional settings in the inventory. There is a column of slots on the left side of the inventory, where the player can select items for Logistics Distributors to give to or take from Icarus. Each selection also provides a pair of sliders to set an upper and lower limit on the item; if Icarus has more of the item than the upper limit, Distributors will not provide any of that item, and any Distributors set to collect from Icarus will begin taking the item until it is below the limit. Likewise, if Icarus has less of the item than the lower limit, Distributors will not take any of it, and Distributors set to provide to Icarus will bring the item to it until it is above the limit.
** Icarus can have a "combo" supply / demand option (slider in the middle showing both blue and orange). Which to execute is determined by the selection made for that item in Icarus's inventory.
** Notably, "Distribute to Icarus" also has a combination supply/demand slider, allowing items to be taken from Icarus when exceeding the upper limit but also be provided when below the lower limit.
* The distributor's selected item defaults to the item in the first slot of the attached storage, if exists.  If no item is in storage when distributor is added, selected item is empty.
** When "Collect from Icarus" is selected, an additional option for "Collect all types" appears. When enabled, the Logistics Distributor will gather each type of item that is above the upper limit.

Thie Logistics Distributor can be built on top of the storage, and Logistics Bots will automatically transport the storage's contents to Icarus' Inventory or other Logistics Distributor base on demand. Being able to satisfy Icarus' needs for specific items and greatly increased efficiency in short range
