After upgrading it, the Pile Sorter can integrate multiple cargos into one and feed out it. Even it is slightly expensive but it is a good deal for those engineers who are dedicated to run the Conveyor Belt at full speed.

The Pile Sorter can be upgraded using the Pile Sorter Upgrade technology to eventually transport the entire capacity of a Conveyor Belt Mk.III.

The following table shows the impact of upgrade level on how quickly a single pile sorter can unload onto a belt at various distances; plus the combined unloading speed of 3 pile sorters onto the same belt at distance 1.
