While it is theoretically possible to substitute [[Stone]] for [[Silicon Ore]] when producing [[Processor]]s, due to the inefficiency, it is highly impractical to support full-rate production with [[Stone]], as it would add the requirement for 4800 [[Stone]] per minute to be delivered to some 80 [[Smelter]]s just to produce the [[Silicon Ore]] for production of 60 [[Processor]]s.  It is thus advisable to set up [[Processor]] production lines near sufficient [[Silicon Ore Vein]]s to maintain production rates.
* Processors are a ubiquitous component of many important recipes and thus will be in constant demand throughout the game. Be prepared to construct large-scale Processor production, especially in the endgame when constructing a [[Dyson Sphere|Dyson sphere]], as they are needed to for both the [[Quantum Chip|Quantum Chips]] and [[Dyson Sphere Component|Dyson Sphere Components]] required to construct [[Small Carrier Rocket|Small Carrier Rockets]].
