Player Tips & Tricks
- Sorters, like Splitters, can have filters applied to them. This allows for the possibility of transporting several different components on a single Conveyor Belt, rather than requiring a separate conveyor for each component. Likewise, filtered Sorters can be used to output specific components from specific ports on buildings that produce more than one component, such as Oil Refineries.
- To apply a filter, select an installed sorter, then click Filter on the control panel that appears. Choose which component you wish the sorter to handle exclusively.
- To remove a filter, select an installed sorter, then click the X that appears next to the component’s icon.
