Player Tips & Tricks

  • As shown in the Production Progression Chart, 69 Smelters and 54 Assembling Machines are needed to produce 2 Super-Magnetic Rings per second at 100% efficiency. However, half of that (35 smelters and 54 assemblers) produce 1 per second at about 99% efficiency, with only one single smelter making magnets at half efficiency.
  • Super-Magnetic Rings have a very complicated production process, but are an important mid-game and late-game material, as they are required for both Conveyor Belts Mk.III and Deuteron Fuel Rods (which are in turn necessary for Small Carrier Rockets to build Dyson spheres). Be prepared to set aside the time, space, and resources to set up large-scale production.
