Summary

Water is one of the core basic natural resources. It can be obtained from a Water Pump on any planet with a water ocean, and is widely used in chemical production.

It is used for the production of Titanium Glass in Assembling Machines. It can also be used to produce Organic Crystals and Sulfuric Acid in Chemical Plants, if the player does not yet have access to natural sources of them.
