  • Fusion is a energy dense and very compact way to power outposts or your midgame factory. The Deuteron Fuelrods are also excellent Mecha fuel, and strongly benefit from proliferation which raises their energetic potential and output by up to 25%, which equals additional 75 MW / Fusion plant
  • Deuteron Fuel Rods are essential for Dyson sphere construction since they are part of the Carrier Rocket recipe. To produce them in adequate quantity can result in gigantic demands of Deuterium. This is why it is a wise decision to build the actual production on a decent Deuterium Giant, and even then a good amount of Fractionators could be required to actually meet demand.
